NYPD Investigating Facebook Marketplace Knifepoint Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Tuesday, July 18, a laptop theft incident occurred on 59 Avenue.

According to the New York City Police Department, two unidentified men met a 40-year-old male victim who intended to sell his laptop via Facebook Marketplace.

The suspects, having displayed a knife, robbed the man of his property and fled the scene. They were last seen entering the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station.

The suspects are described as males with a light complexion, aged between 18 to 20-years old, and between 5’8” to 5’9” tall. The first individual is of a slim build and was last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts and carrying a multicolored book bag.

The second individual has a medium build and was seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans, and also carried a multicolored book bag.
