NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual involved in a sexual assault that took place on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at approximately 9:45 pm.
A 32-year-old female victim reported that while she was inside the ‘1’ line train station at 125 Street and Broadway, an unknown individual approached her from behind on an escalator. The individual placed his hand over her mouth and proceeded to grab her genital area over her clothing before fleeing the location in an unknown direction.
The individual is described as a male with a light complexion. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of this incident. The NYPD is asking anyone with information to come forward.
