NYPD Manhunt for Suspect Who Tried to Rape Teen Girl

MANHATTAN, NY — On Wednesday morning, a 15-year-old girl reported an encounter with an unknown man near a smoke shop, leading to an attempted rape at a nearby residence.

“While inside a residence located in the vicinity of West 63rd Street and 11th Avenue, the individual attempted to rape the victim,” the NYPD said.

The incident occurred at around 7:00 AM in the area of West 63 Street and 11 Avenue. The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, curly hair, and a beard. Fortunately, the victim did not require medical attention following the incident.
