NYPD Recruit Busted After Blowing Off Steam in Romp With Hooker

NEW YORK, NY – A New York City Police Department recruit’s desire for a red light couldn’t wait until he graduated the academy to get one on his vehicle.

In the early hours of Thursday, January 25, Diangelo Pena, a 26-year-old off-duty New York City Police Department recruit, was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitution. The arrest occurred within the jurisdiction of the 75th Precinct.

Pena, who is currently undergoing training as an NYPD recruit, faces charges that directly contradict the standards and values upheld by the New York City Police Department. The incident leading to his arrest took place at around 12:30 AM.
