NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred early on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in front of 197 Madison Street.
At around 2:30 AM, a male discharged a firearm multiple times before fleeing the scene on foot westbound along Madison Street.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. The NYPD is urging anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
