NYPD school crossing guard arrested in the Bronx

NEW YORK — An off-duty NYPD school crossing guard was arrested Saturday in the Bronx, police said.

Jenny Ocampo Gutierrez, 44, was taken into custody at 4:38 p.m. within the 47th Precinct. She was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree harassment.

Details surrounding the incident leading to her arrest were not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing.
