NYPD Searches for Assault Suspect in Queens

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying a man connected with an assault that happened in the 115th Precinct. On Saturday, April 22, 2023, around 3:00 am, a dispute occurred at the intersection of 85 Street and Northern Boulevard, during which an unknown individual stabbed a 39-year-old man in the right eye.

The suspect was last seen heading northbound on 82 Street on foot. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Elmhurst, and is now in stable condition. The suspect is described as a male, aged 18 to 28, approximately 5’8” tall, and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
