NYPD searching for manbun tool thief in Bay Ridge

Brooklyn, NY – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for a residential burglary in Bay Ridge last month, authorities announced.

The incident happened on Wednesday, August 13, around 4:56 p.m. near 80th Street and 6th Avenue in the 68th Precinct. Investigators said one man entered a residence through a rear door and stole approximately $4,900 worth of construction tools before fleeing on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The primary suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and white and red sneakers. Police said he also wore his hair in a manbun.

The NYPD released images of two individuals wanted in connection with the case and urged anyone with information to contact the department’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted online or through the Crime Stoppers app. All calls are confidential.
