NYPD searching for two gunmen involved in Kingsland Avenue shootout

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police are seeking two individuals wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in broad daylight in Greenpoint earlier this month.

The New York City Police Department reported that two unidentified men exchanged gunfire on Friday, September 13,, around 11:30 a.m., in front of 60 Kingsland Avenue, within the confines of the 94th Precinct.

Both suspects fled the scene on foot. One was last seen running westbound on Withers Street, while the other fled eastbound on Jackson Street. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The first individual is described as a male with a medium build and dark complexion, wearing all black at the time of the shooting. The second suspect, also described as a male with a medium build and dark complexion, was wearing a black du-rag, white T-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the incident or the whereabouts of the individuals involved to contact the NYPD or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
