NYPD Seeking Assault Suspect

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking information on an individual connected to an assault.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 25, around 05:30 am, near 179-46 Hillside Avenue.

A 41-year-old man was attacked by an unidentified male, who threw an unknown object at his face and then fled westbound on Hillside Avenue.

The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he is being treated for potential vision loss in his right eye.

The suspect is described as a light-complexioned male, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green pants, and carrying a black backpack. The public is asked to share any relevant information regarding the incident or the individual involved.
