NYPD Seeking Man Wanted for Multiple Crimes, Assault, Car Theft

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively investigating a series of robberies that have recently occurred.

The first incident, which took place on Friday, September 29, at about 12:40 pm, involved a 57-year-old male.

He was walking near 81 Street and 25 Avenue when an unidentified person approached him from behind.

The assailant struck the victim and stole his wallet. He was last spotted fleeing south on 81 Street on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries but declined medical assistance.

Later the same day, the second incident unfolded around 1:18 pm near 64-07 Broadway. Police say the suspect stole a gray 2010 Lexus E35 sedan, which was left running and unoccupied. No one was injured, and the vehicle has since been recovered.
