NYPD seeking suspect in Williamsburg groping incident

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to a forcible touching incident that took place within the 94 Precinct. The incident occurred on April 15, 2023, at around 5:30 PM, in front of 418 Humboldt Street.

The 33-year-old female victim was walking on the sidewalk when the suspect, an unidentified male, crossed the street, approached her from behind, and forcibly touched her private area before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 30 years old, 5’8″ tall, 200 pounds, with a medium build, facial hair, and red long curly hair in a ponytail.

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, black socks, and black sneakers. Surveillance footage and photos are available at DCPI.
