NYPD Seeking Suspects in Robbery of 13-Year-Old Boy

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals connected to a robbery incident. The crime occurred on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, around 4:30 pm.

According to the police report, a 13-year-old male was near Broadway and West 137th Street when two unidentified individuals approached him.

They forcibly took the victim’s hat, coat, iPhone, and sweater, and then fled northbound on West 138th Street and Broadway. The victim was not harmed during the incident.

The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a multicolored jacket, black pants, and black shoes. The second suspect is a male with a dark complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and white shoes. Images of the suspects are available through the NYPD’s DCPI.
