Bronx Scooter Robbery Suspect Identified

NEW YORK CITY – On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at approximately 3:14 p.m., an attempted robbery occurred within the 43 Precinct’s jurisdiction, and the NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in the incident.

According to the police report, the 32-year-old male victim was on his scooter in front of 1805 Westchester Avenue when an unidentified male individual approached him.

The suspect simulated a firearm from inside his hoodie pocket and demanded the victim’s scooter. The victim did not comply, and the male individual fled on foot to parts unknown. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The NYPD describes the suspect as a male, approximately 20 years of age, with a thin build, and last seen wearing all black clothing. Surveillance video and photo depicting the male individual are available at the DCPI and were obtained from 1798 Westchester Avenue.
