NYPD Seeks Assistance in Identifying Grand Larceny Suspect

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who is suspected of grand larceny in connection with a check theft that occurred recently within the 66th Precinct. The unknown individual is accused of gaining the victim’s business check under false pretenses and cashing it without permission, causing a financial loss of $6,000.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 5’9″ tall, and weighing around 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and yellow hat, glasses, a black and red jacket, and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
