NYPD Seeks Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Bronx Robbery

NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department has released a call for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent robbery in the Bronx. The incident occurred at the southwest corner of Broadway and West 230th Street on Monday at approximately 11:20 PM.

According to police reports, a 42-year-old female was assaulted during a verbal altercation on an MTA bus. The assailant slapped her across the face and forcibly took her cellphone before fleeing the scene. The victim reported no injuries from the incident.

Authorities have provided media depicting the suspect, which is available through the DCPI. The NYPD urges anyone with information to come forward to help in the ongoing investigation.
