NYPD Seeks Fugitive in Connection with June 2023 Murder

Bronx, NY — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred within the 44th Precinct. Authorities have identified the individual as 32-year-old Amir Dickson.

The incident took place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, around 10 p.m. Police responded to a call and found a 33-year-old male victim inside 1165 Shakespeare Avenue. The victim was discovered unconscious and unresponsive. Emergency medical services transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was admitted in critical condition.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later ruled the death a homicide.

The NYPD is actively seeking information on Dickson’s whereabouts as part of the ongoing investigation.
