NYPD seeks public help in identifying suspects in Westchester Avenue burglary

NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred early Monday morning in the Bronx.

According to police, the incident took place at approximately 4:30 a.m. inside 1470 Westchester Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct. An unidentified individual entered the premises by gaining access through the roof.

Once inside, the individual attempted to open a safe but was unsuccessful. A second individual served as a lookout during the burglary.

Both suspects fled the scene on foot, heading northbound toward Evergreen Avenue.

Police have released images of the individuals involved and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
