New York, NY ā The New York City Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying suspects connected to a series of robberies. The incidents, both occurring on Saturday, December 30, took place within the areas covered by the 83 Precinct and Transit District 33.
The first incident unfolded at around 10:45 PM on a northbound āLā train near the intersection of Bushwick Avenue and Aberdeen Street. A 28-year-old man was assaulted by two unidentified individuals. The attackers, working together, repeatedly struck the victim in the face before forcibly taking his cellphone. Following the attack, the suspects made their escape, leaving the victim with facial injuries.
Merely five minutes later, at approximately 10:50 PM, a similar attack occurred close to the same location. This time, a 20-year-old man was targeted by two assailants who, in a similar manner, punched him repeatedly in the face and then stole his phone. The young victim suffered cuts to his lip and received on-scene medical treatment.
