NYPD Seeks Public’s Help In Identifying Suspects In Brooklyn Robbery

New York, N.Y. – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying individuals connected to a robbery that occurred in Brooklyn earlier this month.

According to police reports, the incident took place on Monday, August 5, 2024, at approximately 1:40 a.m. in front of 1165 Utica Avenue, within the confines of the 67th Precinct. A 36-year-old male victim became involved in a physical altercation with several unidentified individuals.

During the altercation, one of the suspects removed a firearm from the victim and fled the scene in a vehicle, heading northbound on Utica Avenue to an unknown location. The victim declined medical treatment at the scene.

The NYPD urges anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward. “This is what happened,” the New York City Police Department said in a statement. The investigation is ongoing.
