NYPD Seeks Public’s Help to Identify Burglary Suspect

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in two burglary incidents within the 50th Precinct. The first incident occurred early Monday morning when an unknown male forcibly entered a residential building near Corlear Avenue and West 231 Street at around 3:00 AM. Using a crowbar, the suspect pried open the lobby door but fled without taking any property. A similar event took place in the same location early Friday morning at approximately 2:52 AM, with the same outcome and no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and slim build, standing between 5’8″ and 5’9″ tall, and sporting a gray goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a “New York” logo, gray pants, and white and gray sneakers.
