NYPD Seeks Public’s Help to Identify Subway Theft Suspect Caught On Camera

New York, NY – Authorities are calling on the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent theft aboard a subway train. The incident took place on Wednesday evening, at approximately 8:00 PM, as a 28-year-old woman was traveling southbound on the “F” line near the 67th Avenue station.

According to reports, an unidentified male approached the woman and forcefully snatched her phone from her hand before exiting the station. The suspect then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the encounter.

The New York City Police Department has made media related to the suspect available, urging anyone with information to come forward. The visuals of the individual believed to be connected to this act are accessible through the Department’s press office.
