NYPD Seeks Suspect in Bedford Avenue Armed Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a robbery that occurred at a commercial establishment located at 1044 Bedford Avenue on Wednesday.

The suspect entered the store around 12:24 PM and demanded tobacco products from the store employee. The individual then displayed what appeared to be a firearm, prompting the employee to comply with the demands.

After obtaining the tobacco products, the suspect fled westbound on Lafayette Avenue with the stolen items

. No injuries were sustained during the incident. The sought individual is described as a male, approximately 17-19 years old, last seen wearing a blue jacket, black sweatpants, and multi-colored sneakers.
