NYPD Seeks Suspect in Bronx Robbery During Planned Exchange

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the 49th Precinct.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at approximately 6:24 p.m., a 29-year-old male victim was in the vicinity of 2732 Bronx Park East for a planned exchange of property when an unidentified individual forcibly took the item from him. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect to contact the NYPD. The investigation is ongoing.
