NYPD Seeks Suspect in Robbery of 18-Year-Old Woman

BRONX, NY — The police are searching for an unidentified male suspect involved in a robbery that occurred on Saturday, June 22, at approximately 2:30 a.m. near the corner of Webster Avenue and East 233rd Street.

The suspect approached an 18-year-old female from behind, knocked her to the ground, and stole her purse, which contained a cell phone, around $50 in cash, and other personal items. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 5’6” tall, and weighing around 180 pounds. He fled the scene and remains at large.
