NYPD seeks suspects in Midtown assault

NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying individuals wanted in connection with an assault that occurred Saturday night in the Midtown South Precinct. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Park Avenue and East 32nd Street.

According to police, a group of unidentified individuals chased a 36-year-old man onto the top of a yellow taxicab. The suspects then assaulted the victim by punching, kicking, and striking him with unidentified objects before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim suffered injuries to his face and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. He was reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on the suspects or the incident to come forward as the investigation continues.
