NYPD seeks woman in connection with assault at Queens business

NEW YORK CITY — The New York City Police Department is searching for a woman involved in an assault inside a commercial establishment in Queens earlier this month.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, October 10, at around 3:24 p.m. inside a business located at 37-76 Junction Boulevard. A 31-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified woman, who engaged in a verbal dispute before striking him in the head, causing injuries.

The assailant fled the scene, and the victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition, police said.

The individual sought by authorities is described as a female with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket, green sweatpants, green and gray sneakers, and a multi-colored hair cap. She was also carrying a black bag.

The NYPD is continuing to investigate the incident and urges anyone with information to contact the police.
