NYPD Staffer Busted for Endangering Child, Assault

BROOKLYN, NY — An off-duty New York City Police Communications Technician was arrested on Wednesday, August 14, at approximately 9:00 p.m. within the confines of the 73rd Precinct.

Kalena Lorainey, a 29-year-old female, was taken into custody and charged with endangering the welfare of a child under 17 years of age and assault in the third degree.

The circumstances surrounding the arrest have not been disclosed. The charges are currently pending further legal proceedings.
