Ocean County Drug Bust Sends Lakewood Man to Jail

Brick Township, NJ – Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer has recently announced that a collaborative investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies led to a significant drug bust in Brick Township.

Detectives observed Raheem Montgomery, 30, of Lakewood, leaving a residence in Brick Township on August 3. After a stop at a local gas station in Point Pleasant, Montgomery was detained.

Following this, the Brick Township Police Department Special Emergency Response Team executed a court-approved search of the residence.

The search yielded 10 grams of Cocaine, 350 wax folds of Heroin/Fentanyl, a pound of Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a stolen handgun with a high-capacity magazine, hollow point ammunition, and $7,300 in cash.

Montgomery now faces multiple charges, including intent to distribute Cocaine and Heroin/Fentanyl. He is currently held at the Ocean County Jail, awaiting a detention hearing.
