Ocean County man faces charges for drug possession and DUI

OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — Marco Antonio Arguello, 28, was booked into Ocean County custody on Monday, December 2, 2024, on charges of drug possession and driving under the influence, according to public inmate records.

Arguello is facing charges under New Jersey statutes 2C:35-10A(1) for possession of controlled dangerous substances (schedule I-IV drugs) and 39:4-50 for driving while intoxicated. The charges are classified as a disorderly persons offense and a fourth-degree crime, respectively.

Court records show his bond is set at a total of $14,000. This includes a $4,000 cash-only bond and a $10,000 bond with a 10% payment option, both of which remain open as of Monday afternoon.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the offenses or the arrest.
