Ocean County man held without bail on cyber harassment and stalking charges

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – Thomas Hayes of Ocean County was arrested on January 9, 2025, and is being held without bail on charges of cyber harassment and stalking.

Authorities allege that Hayes engaged in repeated online harassment and stalking of the same victim, leading to more severe charges due to his prior offenses.

A detainer has also been issued by Middlesex County Probation, indicating Hayes may be facing additional legal consequences related to probation violations.

Hayes remains in custody at the Ocean County Jail as the investigation continues.
