Ocean County man sentenced for aggravated sexual assault against child

OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — Ryan E. Moore, a 54-year-old man from Little Egg Harbor, was processed at the Ocean County Jail on Friday after being sentenced for aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to official inmate records.

Moore was committed to custody on December 6, following his conviction on charges of aggravated sexual assault involving a minor aged 13 to 16 with a parental or supervisory relationship. He was also convicted of endangering the welfare of a child.

Court records indicate that Moore will serve a 13-year sentence, with his projected release date set for December 5, 2037. The charge for aggravated sexual assault was graded as a first-degree offense, while the child endangerment charge was classified as a second-degree offense.

Moore is being held without bail, and no bond or detainer information is listed in connection with his incarceration. Officials confirmed that Moore, who is married, has no known aliases or pending detainers.

The case underscores the seriousness of safeguarding vulnerable populations from abuse.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office has not released further information regarding this case at this time.
