OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Ocean Township Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Dispatcher. No Experience Required – Training will be provided
Police Dispatchers provide a vital link between our citizens and emergency services. Applicants must be able to multi-task with radios, telephones and sophisticated computer systems. Applicants must also be available to work day and night shifts as well as weekends and holidays. Employment is based upon a satisfactory background check and a successful completion of an in-house training program.
Eligibility:
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language well and intelligently and must have a high school diploma or its equivalent;
• Is of good moral character and sound body and good health;
• Must be at least 18 years of age;
• Have not been convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude or which would make the person unfit to perform the duties of the office;
