Off-Duty NYPD Auxiliary Officer Arrested for Criminal Mischief in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — An off-duty NYPD Auxiliary Police Officer was arrested late Wednesday night in the Bronx, according to police.

Marciel Mojica, 50, was taken into custody at approximately 10:53 p.m. on October 2 within the 49th Precinct. Mojica, an Auxiliary Officer with the NYPD, was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.

No further details about the incident were immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
