NEW YORK, NY — An off-duty NYPD detective was arrested early Thursday morning and faces multiple charges related to impaired driving. Detective Franklin Garcia, 50, was taken into custody at 2:27 AM within the 62nd Precinct.
Garcia is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.
The NYPD has not released any further details regarding this arrest.
