Off-Duty NYPD Officer Arrested and Charged with DWI in Midtown

New York City – An off-duty employee of the New York City Police Department was arrested and charged on Thursday evening in Midtown Manhattan.

The arrest took place at 9:07 PM.

The officer taken into custody is identified as Iliana Quezada, a 37-year-old female, who serves as an NYPD police officer. Quezada now faces charges related to Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.

The arrest occurred after it was determined that Quezada was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, she refused to submit to a breath test, further complicating the situation.
