Off-duty NYPD school safety agent arrested in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. — An off-duty New York City school safety agent was arrested Saturday morning in Queens, authorities said.

Richard Nicolas, 40, was taken into custody at 10:04 a.m. within the confines of the 113th Precinct. He was charged with criminal mischief and harassment, according to police.

Details surrounding the incident were not immediately available.
