Off-duty NYPD traffic agent arrested for criminal mischief in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — An off-duty New York City employee, identified as 48-year-old Mohammad Rashid, was arrested on Saturday afternoon and charged with criminal mischief, the NYPD reported.

Rashid, a traffic agent with the NYPD, was taken into custody at approximately 12:38 p.m. in the 43rd Precinct. Details surrounding the alleged incident have not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.

The NYPD has not issued further comment regarding Rashid’s arrest.
