Serial office burglar targets Greenbelt businesses in electronics theft spree

Greenbelt, MD – A man suspected in a string of office burglaries across Greenbelt is being sought after breaking into multiple buildings over the past two weeks and making off with electronics and cash.

The suspect, whose image has been circulated by police, is believed to have struck three separate office buildings in the 7500 block of Greenway Center Drive on August 9 around 5:00 p.m. He allegedly entered each location and exited with stolen electronics and cash.

Less than a week later, on August 15, the same suspect is believed to have broken into an additional office building in the 6400 block of Golden Triangle Drive, again stealing various electronics before fleeing the scene.

Investigators say the suspect appears to be targeting business offices during off-hours, though it is unclear how he is gaining access to the secured buildings.
