Ohio Lottery player bags $100K in Hilliard with Cashword ticket

HILLIARD, Ohio — A lucky Ohio Lottery player from Hilliard has won $100,000 on the popular $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased at Giant Eagle #6529 on Hayden Run Road, according to lottery officials.

After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings of 28%, the winner will receive approximately $72,000. The $2,000,000 Cashword, a $10 scratch-off, offers a top prize of $80,000 annually for 25 years, with three top prizes still available as of Nov. 4.

This latest win adds to the excitement around the Ohio Lottery’s Cashword series, which has contributed significantly to funding education statewide, with over $32 billion raised since 1974.
