INDEPENDENCE, OH — A lucky Ohio Lottery player is celebrating a $150,000 win after purchasing a Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 50X scratch-off ticket at a local retailer, lottery officials announced Wednesday.
The winning ticket was sold at Discount Drug Mart #18, located at 6160 Brecksville Road in Independence. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the player will take home approximately $108,000.
Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 50X is a $10 scratch-off game featuring a top prize of $500,000. As of March 25, four top prizes remain in circulation.
