Ohio Lottery player wins $50K in Billion scratch-off game

CORTLAND, Ohio — An Ohio Lottery player has won $50,000 after purchasing a Billion scratch-off ticket at Circle #5427, located at 238 S High Street in Cortland.

The winner will take home an estimated $36,000 after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28%.

Billion, a $50 scratch-off game, features a top prize of $1,000,000 per year for 20 years. As of Nov. 15, 2024, three of the game’s top prizes remain unclaimed.

The Cortland win adds to the excitement surrounding the Billion game, which continues to attract players with its substantial prizes.
