Police Seek Assistance Identifying Suspect in Street Robbery

Pittsburgh, PA – Plainclothes detectives from Zone 3 are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the suspect involved in a street robbery that took place on Thursday afternoon in Pittsburgh’s South Side. The incident occurred at the intersection of S. 17th Street and Roland Street around 4:10 p.m. The victim, a female, reported that an unknown male grabbed her purse as she was walking in the area before fleeing up S.15th St. Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact (412) 488-8326.
