One arrested, one on the run in Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – Charges of murder have been filed against two men for a shooting that occurred on May 12, 2023, in east Columbus. The incident resulted in the death of 28-year-old Javon Tucker and injury of a 31-year-old man.

Officers from the Columbus Division of Police responded to the shooting in the 900 block of Mt. Vernon Ave, where the victims were found a short distance away.

The first suspect, 32-year-old Davon Robinson, was taken into custody on May 17, 2023. As for the second suspect, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 30-year-old Charles Calaway, who is currently still at large.

However, recent updates reveal that Calaway was arrested in Norton, Virginia.
