One dead, another injured in Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — A deadly shooting in Northwest Baltimore left one man dead and another wounded Wednesday evening, prompting a homicide investigation.

At approximately 5:32 p.m. on March 19, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a 49-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after, police were alerted to a second victim, a 59-year-old man who arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound sustained at the same location. He is in stable condition.
