PHILADELPHIA, PA – Toby Tyree Murphy, a 33-year-old man from North Philadelphia, was pronounced dead on Tuesday night following a shooting in East Germantown.
Officers arrived at 200 East Ashmead Street and took Murphy to Einstein Medical Center for treatment.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, Murphy sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body. Despite receiving medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries.
The police are continuing their investigation into this fatal shooting. Murphy was identified by the police on Wednesday morning.
