RAHWAY, NJ – Police in Rahway today said a fatal crash that occurred on St. Georges Avenue was caused by a driver driving across southbound lanes in the opposite direction and striking a tree. The driver in the crash was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.
The crash happened at around 4:30 pm on Sunday. No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported. The deceased driver was not identified by police.
