One Dead in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Harford

HARFORD, MD – Police are continuing their investigation into a motorcycle crash that left one person dead in Harford on Saturday.

According to police, a 60-year-old man died on Saturday after his 2017 Suzuki 650 DualSport motorcycle was involved in a two-vehicle crash.

“The crash occurred in the 11800 block of Harford Road near Hartley Mill Road at approximately 6:00 p.m. Investigators with the Baltimore County Crash Reconstruction Team believe the vehicles crashed as the Suzuki entered Harford Road from the east and into the path of a 2004 GMC Yukon traveling northbound,” police said.

The driver of the Suzuki 60-year-old Samuel Hammaker was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the GMC Yukon was not injured. This crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Crash Reconstruction Team.
