One Dead in Howard Beach Drowning

NEW YORK, NY – A tragic water rescue occurred late Friday at the intersection of 165th Avenue and Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach. Police and FDNY responded to a 911 call around 8:48 PM, where an unidentified male was retrieved from the water and later pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The identity of the deceased is currently withheld pending identification and family notification. The investigation continues under the oversight of the 106 Precinct.
