One Dead, One Injured in Double Shooting in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD – A homicide investigation is underway following a shooting incident on East 20th Street that left one man dead and another injured.

On Thursday evening, at approximately 8:21 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of East 20th Street after receiving a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered evidence of a shooting.

Shortly after, police were informed of two shooting victims who had walked into a hospital for treatment. Officers responded to the hospital and found a 30-year-old male and a 26-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite medical efforts, the 26-year-old victim was pronounced dead. The 30-year-old male remains hospitalized with injuries.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
